FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
US United Inc. Announces Inaugural National Unity Day to Promote Shared Humanity and Bridge Building Across America
US United Inc., a national not-for-profit media collective dedicated to fostering connection and building community, today announced the launch of National Unity Day, an annual observance approved by the National Day Calendar Registrar. National Unity Day will be celebrated annually on the Second Saturday in December, calling on all Americans to intentionally celebrate their shared humanity and actively work to create a more united society.
The inaugural observation of National Unity Day is set for Saturday, December 13, 2025.
Unity is defined as a sense of respect, togetherness, and a shared purpose among individuals from a variety of backgrounds, beliefs, and experiences. In a world that often highlights differences, National Unity Day serves as a powerful reminder of the common bonds that connect all people, emphasizing that true strength is found in diversity, not in erasing it.
"National Unity Day is an invitation to look beyond our personal, professional, and social media bubbles and connect with those from different backgrounds and experiences," said a spokesperson for US United. "It's a chance to recognize the everyday acts of kindness and bridge building that are already happening in our communities and to be inspired to do more."
The movement stresses that being a unifier requires conscious choice and continuous effort, viewing a healthy community as an ecosystem where every part supports the others. National Unity Day is designed to turn the idea of unity into actionable steps, especially by harnessing the spirit of the holiday season to encourage community togetherness
.
How to Celebrate National Unity Day:
The public is encouraged to participate through simple, impactful acts of unity, including:
