Hi Everyone,
Today is all about the "Greats." Whether it’s a great athlete, a great meal, or a great story, April 27th encourages us to celebrate the legends among us.
Here is the April 27th Chapter:
The Narrative: It is National Tell a Story Day. Stories are how we connect, how we learn, and how we remember. Whether it’s a tall tale, a family legend, or a "you won’t believe what happened at work" update, share a story today!
The "Sultan of Swat": Happy National Babe Ruth Day. We honor one of the greatest baseball players of all time. He once said, "Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game." (We’re taking that advice to heart today!)
The Colorful Chew: It’s National Gummi Bear Day! These squishy little icons have been a candy aisle staple since the 1920s. Which color do you go for first?
The Classic Cake: Celebrate National Devil Dog Day. This iconic snack cake—with its devilishly good cream filling—has been a lunchbox favorite for generations.
The Sunday Roast: If you’re looking for a serious dinner, it’s National Prime Rib Day. Considered the "King of Roasts," today is the day to treat yourself to a culinary classic.
The April 27th Challenge: Channel your inner Babe Ruth and "swing for the fences" today. Tell one great story to a friend or coworker, and if it involves a gummi bear, even better.

Best,
Team NDC
