NATIONAL MURAL DAY JOINS THE NATIONAL DAY CALENDAR
Celebrating the Power of Public Art and the Artists Who Inspire Communities

National Day Calendar is proud to announce the official registration of National Mural Day, a celebration held annually on the Last Saturday of June (June 28, 2025) to honor the artists, the communities, and the culture behind mural art across the nation.
National Mural Day highlights the beauty and impact of large-scale public art, acknowledging murals as more than just decoration—they are expressions of identity, history, activism, and imagination. Whether painted on city buildings, alleyways, schools, or sidewalks, murals shape the visual voice of a place and its people.
How To Participate
- Visit a local mural or plan a mural tour in your city.
- Share photos of your favorite murals and tag the artists.
- Organize a community mural project or participate in a paint day.
- Learn about the history of muralism in America and beyond.

About the Founder
This day was founded by Viva Cuba, Inc., an organization in Cuba, Missouri, whose mission is to elevate mural art as a vital and accessible form of creative expression. Today, Cuba is proud to have 15 murals, the result of a local beautification program.
