The Life Skill: It is National Learn to Swim Day. Summer is right around the corner—it’s the perfect time to get comfortable in the water.
The Legacy: Today is Honor Our LGBT Elders Day, recognizing the pioneers who paved the way for equality and celebrating their history and resilience.
The Quirky Mix: We’re also tipping our hats to National Love a Tree Day, National Piercing Day, National Sea Monkey Day (remember those?), and the very fancy National Coquilles Saint Jacques Day.
