The Caped Crusaders: It is National Superhero Day! Whether they wear a cape in a comic book or a scrubs/uniform in real life, today is about honoring those who swoop in to save the day. Who is your personal superhero?
The Steering Wheel Stars: Happy School Bus Driver Appreciation Day. These folks are the first and last friendly faces many kids see every day, navigating traffic and noise with total patience. If you see a yellow bus today, give 'em a wave!
The Heart of Gold: It’s National Bravehearts Day, dedicated to the bravest kids battling pediatric cancer. It’s a day to celebrate their strength and the "bravehearts" of the healthcare workers and families supporting them.
The Sweet Slice: After all that heroism, you need fuel. It’s National Blueberry Pie Day! Whether it’s got a lattice crust or a crumble top, it’s the official dessert of the day.
The Spoken Word: Finally, it’s Great Poetry Reading Day. Take a moment to read a verse out loud. There’s something about the rhythm of a good poem that resets the brain better than a cup of coffee.
