The Legend: We celebrate Jackie Robinson Day, marking the anniversary of when he broke the baseball color barrier in 1947. Everyone in MLB wears #42 today—a powerful nod to courage and change.
The Deep History: Today is National Titanic Remembrance Day, dedicated to the memory of the lives lost in 1912. It’s a day for quiet reflection on history and human endurance.
