The coming National Days make for a great "look around and enjoy life" theme.
We’re keeping the celebration streak alive! These National Days encourage eating well, getting outside, and appreciating the big picture.
Here is your April 8th Game Plan:
- The Tasty Pocket: It is National Empanada Day! Whether you like them savory (beef and olives) or sweet (guava and cheese), these portable pockets of joy are the perfect lunch. Pro-tip: If you're feeling adventurous, try a "fusion" empanada today.
- The Wild Side: Happy National Zoo Lovers Day! It’s a day to appreciate the conservation efforts and the amazing creatures that share our planet. If you can’t make it to the zoo, a quick "animal cam" livestream break at your desk is highly recommended.
- The Big Picture: Finally, it’s National All Is Ours Day. This is a beautiful reminder to appreciate the things we often take for granted—the air we breathe, the public parks, and the beauty of nature. It’s a day to realize that the best things in life belong to all of us.
Your April 8th Challenge:
Go for a walk, appreciate the scenery (All Is Ours), and see if you can track down an empanada along the way.
