The president of the most cherish and just promoted elite two club, Rangers FC of Bafut, Mr Neba George Shu has declared his candidacy for the position of FECAFOOT North West president.

News of his wish to occupy the Cameroon Football Federation office in the region went viral on social media immediately after his team made it to the elite two rank in the region.

"I have decided to officially declare my candidature to run as president of FECAFOOT North West Regional Bureau. I know this decision is coming at a time many least expected. My prime objective is to restructure Football in our region," Neba George said in a note

The 39 year old business man has also pledge his wish to completely change sporting activities in the North West region, acknowledging the fact that football in particular has been at the ground level in the region.

"You will all bear with me that for the past three years our regional football has been a sham, not to talk of the desolation of the divisional Football leagues. In my 11 years of active participation in the promotion of football in this Region, I think this is the time for me to take over the baton of command for the interest of Football and footballers in the entire Region," he added

Neba George is therefore the first person in the region to declare his candidacy for the North West top-notch position, stating that he will put in place a competitive youth football league for the region in all categories and a competitive women's league.
